The Woodpecker Trail-I-16 interchange has many nearby food places including Bevricks Char House Grille, JoMax Barbecue, Papa Buck's BBQ, McDonalds, Senor Luis Mexican Grill & Cantina, Burger King, Hardees, KFC, Taco Bell, Dairy Queen, Subway, Krispy Chick, Huddle House, Waffle House, and Village Pizza. In downtown Metter (about 5 minutes away) you can find more restaurants including Edenfield's Restaurant, Liberty Market, Heart of Metter, Hong Kong, Southern Smiles Country Cookin' and Little Chick. |
Relax for a while in Metter and enjoy some of the town's unique attractions. Visit Guido Gardens or see some of the other sites. Don't miss a chocolate milk shake at one of the local soda fountains. The Metter Welcome Center, a fully restored 1928 Lumber Mill commissary, is located on the Woodpecker Trail (Ga 121) at I-16 Exit 104. Picnic tables and rocking chairs are available for you to have a relaxing picnic or rest for a while. |
